We promote economic development and growth, thanks to innovation and technology, cooperation and collaboration with stakeholders and the leadership of 3,500 FinTechs, champions of Financial Inclusion.

Official events in Latin America

Members
The Ibero-American FinTech Alliance brings together 16 North American FinTech Associations/Chambers,
Central America, South America, the Caribbean and Spain. We generate more than 100,000 highly productive jobs.
HISTORY
2015
Driven by the conviction of transforming the financial industry through innovation, technology and business development, different people in Latin America and Spain led the formation of associations in the region.
2017
The formation of a collaboration platform, the Ibero-American FinTech Alliance, is agreed.
2021
It was created as a foundation in Chile. The presidency was held by FinteChile.
2022
Argentina was elected president. The publication "FinTech in Ibero-America" was launched.
2023
Peru is elected to the presidency. Corporate governance and partnership with public and private sector actors are strengthened. Four Executive Committees were created: Finance, Special Projects, Women FinTech and Events/PR.
2024
El Salvador is elected president.
Our history, values and principles make us the most representative and dynamic technology association in Latin America. Our work will focus on bringing the benefits of Financial Inclusion to millions of people and thousands of companies, institutional development and the generation of knowledge.
Steering Committee
We are the eligible partner to bring technological progress to families and businesses in Latin America. We cooperate with governments, regulators, financial intermediaries, multilateral and development organizations and donors to promote Financial and Digital Inclusion, technological entrepreneurship, innovation and women's leadership in new industrial development.
